Hi.

Welcome to my blog!

Wedding weekend

This weekend my brother Stephen married his love, Jessica Hallaren (now Fletcher!). You've never met two more lovely, precious people. It was a joy to celebrate them!

We arrived in Williamsburg, Virginia, LATE on Thursday night. Technically, it was Friday morning as I checked into our hotel after 1AM. Yikes. These babes (below) and I slept for less than 4 hrs. on the first night thanks to baby Laura.

One of the highlights of my trip was Stephen driving my car to Virginia that night (Husband drove up the next evening). The two babies were asleep in the back seat so it gave us the four hour drive to catch up and discuss the upcoming festivities. Stephen works on Wall Street and has been living in NYC for the last 6 months so any and all time with him is precious.

On Friday morning, we set off to explore Colonial Williamsburg as we have done frequently since I was little. We've spent many a Christmas holiday (and summer vacas) here and it never fails to disappoint! Especially that bakery... Man, chocolate chip cookies, gingerbread cookies and hot apple cider always hit the spot.

The wedding was Saturday afternoon, so that morning we bundled up for outside pictures. (Hastag IT WAS FREEZING) LOL.

As the extremely patient photographer (we are a HUGE group!) took pictures of the wedding party, I took the opportunity to snap some family photos. I was unable to take pictures of everyone, so these were just a few of my siblings and their families.

I wish I had photographed more but honestly my hands were just too cold after a few hours. LOL.

The wedding was beautiful and full of unique, touching moments. I wish I could have taken a picture of everything!

Congratulations, Stephen and Jess. Love you both! ย

P.S. Some of the pictures from Colonial Williamsburg were taken by siblings. Thank you, siblings, for helping me document! Can't even wait to spend Christmas with you all. xoxo
